GameStooge.com reports that, at San Diego's ComicCon, Kevin Feige (Marvel Studio's President of Production) responded to a question about a new Marvel Vs Capcom with, "Yes. And maybe sooner than you think."

However, it seems that this could all just be hearsay, although one can expect there will be quite a few (thousand) questions to both companies about whether this game is a soon-to-be-released reality, or if it's just in the planning stage.

There is also the possibility it isn't planned at all. So, for the time being, Capcom is producing a gme called Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes, which will only be released in Japan...at least until someone goes through the more illegal channels to make it available in some way for others. Which, as all gamers know, eventually happens, no matter how good or bad the game is.
