Google launches PS Home-esque "Lively"

Google's Lively is much like what Playstation's Home is to be; you can decorate your own room, chat with friends, manipulate objects with your mouse, etc. Now that Google's making virtual worlds, how long 'till world domination?!     I looked at this yesterday.

    Frankly, even though I was attracted by the graphical boobies that were used as an image with the article, I didn't see anything that was actually worth a damn.

    Maybe I'm just not cool enough to get it, or something.

      I know what you mean. It doesn't appeal to me, either. I guess if you need a visual chatroom or something it could be useful, but otherwise it seems pretty.....meh.

        Yeah. Especially considering this idea has already been done by Second Life, and for the PS3 nutters, with Home.

        Seems a little redundant to try and do it again.

        Then, I guess Google are mad.
