Activision and Vivendi Merger Approved

Shareholders have approved the merger between game publisher Activision and Blizzard Entertainment parent company Vivendi Games, the transaction is expected to close on July 9th.

The new company, dubbed Activision Blizzard, is valued at roughly $18.9B.
