According to TripleRedX, Glu Mobile has announced that it has struck a deal with Activision to extend the companies' worldwide partnership to include a Call of Duty: World at War mobile edition. Glu will develop and publish this version, which will be released on major wireless services worldwide.

As quoted from Jill Braff, senior VP of Global Publishing at Glu, "We’re excited to extend our partnership with Activision and bring Call of Duty: World at War to mobile gamers worldwide. The Call of Duty franchise has been a great addition to Glu’s portfolio of award-winning games, and we look forward to the continued success it will bring to the action category.”

Dave Anderson, senior director of Business Development at Activision, states that, "Glu has solid studio capabilities and carrier relationships around the world, and is well-positioned to continue to bring the Call of Duty experience to mobile consumers."
