"What if mankind had to leave Earth, and somebody forgot to turn the last robot off?"
This is the idea behind WALL-E, a brand new game from Pixar and THQ, which transports gamers to a galaxy not-so-far away, where they'll meet a determined little robot called WALL-E.

It's been hundreds of years since WALL-E (Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth Class) was built, and he's been trundling along for all that time. Now he's met EVE, a sleek search robot, and has discovered a new purpose in life other than collecting knick-knacks. EVE has realised that WALL-E has accidentally uncovered the key to the planet's future and has raced back into space to report her findings to the humans (who have been waiting for news that it's safe to return home). WALL-E doesn't want to be left behind and chases EVE across the galaxy, sparking noe of the most creative and exciting computer comedy adventures ever.

If you'd like to see what it's all about, we've got the shiny new demo here for you, so you can join WALL-E and EVE as they take a trip through space.

Zip, race and blast through space as you take part in a fast-paced adventure. The game features nine worlds packed full of "non-stop action and adventure", which sees gamers solving puzzles, dodging dangerous enemies, carrying out intense missions and navigating their way through a new world.

If you'd like a friend or three to join you, there's also multi-player mode which sees up to four players head-to-head, with a bunch of minigames and activities to keep you busy.

...and it's not just EVE and WALL-E - joining the two on their fantastic journey will be a crazy cast of characters including a pet cockroach and a malfunctioning team of heroic, misfit robots.

Looking for something a bit light and entertaining? This could be for you. Check out the demo, and keep an eye out for WALL-E, hitting game shops (and movie screens) very soon.
