NCSoft Sweeps Tabula Rasa Under the Rug

Tabula Rasa NCSoft has seemingly decided to pretend they never got involved with Tabula Rasa. But, as Gotgame.com's Rob Van Dam states, "It didn’t work for David Hasselhoff’s herpes and it won’t work for the Tabula Rasa debacle either."

The MMO has been ailing, despite the decent game play. With the release of NCSoft's first quarter earnings report, the mention of Tabula Rasa wasn't, well...it wasn't good. RGTR (Richard Garriot's Tabula Rasa) dropped 63% from the previous quarter, which is quickly gaining on another scrapped project, Auto Assault.

NCsoft’s CFO, Lee Jae-Ho confirms that they are not making any real profit from Tabula Rasa, but they seem to be trying to remain optimistic about the game, although no concrete plans have been announced as of yet.

      Quite sad, as this is actually not a bad game at all. I could see getting back into it if I had the time.
