We're guessing that not too many kids list air traffic controller very high in their list of things they want to be when they grow up. It doesn't have that same kind of flare that astronaut, firefighter, or even airline pilot does. But maybe that's because in America we haven't had a successful series of air traffic controller video games. Well that problem might be solved later this year when Majesco releases Air Traffic Chaos, a game all about the stress-inducing, life in your hands job of being an air traffic controller. We got to try it out and see exactly how to accidentally cause a mid-air collision of two jumbo jets.
Developed by Sonic Powered, Air Traffic Chaos is based on the popular Japanese series Boku wa Koukuu Kanseikan (I am an Air Traffic Controller), which, in addition to being a PC game for years, was also a launch title for the GBA in Japan. Air Traffic Chaos puts players in the control tower and tasks them with directing arriving and departing planes. There are five actual Japanese airports to work at, each with three levels of difficulty.
