"If you bought a PlayStation 3 when it launched in November of 2006, there's a pretty good chance that you picked up a copy of Insomniac Games' Resistance: Fall of Man. The Burbank-based developer's first-person shooter was far and away the most impressive of the launch titles, first-party or otherwise. Although the game wasn't particularly innovative or groundbreaking, it was extremely polished and well-designed, something that couldn't be said for many of the system's initial titles. Not surprisingly, the team at Insomniac had already planned a sequel, the aptly titled Resistance 2." - GameSpy
