If you were hoping to get a job with the software company you might want to look somewhere else as Adobe has recently fired 600 employees. Just in time for Christmas the company has had to release 8% of their workers due to Creative Studio 4 not being as popular as they had planned on. (gee, i wonder why.)

Shortly followed by Sumner Redstone's offloading of the majority ownership of Midway, stocks are reaching a deadly low of $.18 per share. With this comes the annoucement that if they do not manage to get their stock back over $1 then the NYSE will be delisting Midway. (oh noes!)

Killzone 2 Mark your calenders PS3 owners! (all 6 of you) The exclusive FPS, Killzone 2 has been slated for a February 27, 2009 release in the United States. However at this point no date has been set for any other countries, so bad luck chummies... On top of announcing the date, two new weapons were revealed the Bolt Gun and the Flamethrower. Judge Marsha Pechman of Seattle has ordered Steve Ballmer to testify in a class action lawsuit against Microsoft, on the grounds that the "Vista Capable" marketing campaign misled customers.

Microsoft attempted to have Jim Allchin (then co-president) and Will Poole (then senior vice president) testify instead of Ballmer, claiming that Ballmer was not involved in discussions regarding the "Vista Capable" campaign. As part of Jack Thompson's permanent disbarment by the Florida Supreme Court, the anti-game crusader was also ordered to pay $43,675. The figure represents the Florida Bar's cost to prosecute Thompson's case.

That amount was later reduced to $42,525 by the Bar. It now seems that Thompson has paid up.

Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 A demo is scheduled to be hosted by GameSpot, beginning tomorrow, 11/24/2008.

According to the "official blurb:"

Batman: Arkham Asylum The Dark Knight has some dark foes, and Gotham City is infamous for it's dark place of treatment for the criminally insane: Arkham Asylum.

GameTrailers.com has posted a look into this DC Den of Horrors. It seems to be little more than a showcase for the game's setting and rather impressive graphics, but it certainly creates a certain...ambiance!

Terminator Salvation Warner Bros has confirmed it will distribute the upcoming Terminator: Salvation game, set to launch in-line with the film’s release in May 2009.
